Hello and welcome to my webpage! I am the Math Coach at Marlboro Elementary School. Not only do I have the privilege of working with students across grade levels, but I also teach the Gifted Math Program at Mar El. I am looking forward to having a very successful school year! Our time together will be full of new discoveries. As a teacher, it is rewarding for me to watch your children evolve throughout the year. 

My mission is to build a supportive classroom atmosphere in which all of my students believe in their own abilities and those of their classmates. Of course, each child will progress at an individual rate, but success is measured not by where they finish, but by how far they've come. I will also strive to create a warm learning environment where each student will feel safe and have the opportunity to learn and grow. It is my hope that every child reaches their highest potential.

          I, too, was fortunate enough to attend Marlboro Township Schools, and I am thankful for the opportunity to touch the lives of your children the same way Marlboro touched mine. This community provided me with academic excellence, as well as, a wide range of educational opportunities. My love for learning and teaching nurtured from my memorable experiences in Marlboro, and I am looking forward to share this passion with you and your children.

          Working together is the key to making this year an enjoyable experience for all of us. An important component of your child’s school success depends on a close school and home relationship. Parents need to be aware of how their child is doing both, academically and socially.  I encourage you to talk about school, check your child’s “Math Folder” each week, discuss and sign homework, and let your child know that school is important to you. I will also make a continuous effort to update you on your child's success.
