Welcome to my class page! Here, as well as Google Classroom, you will find useful information, helping to ensure a successful school year. Please take a moment to look over the useful information found on our classroom website.
Google Classroom will be our hub for our Daily Agenda as well as all homework and ongoing classroom assignments. You can also check Google Classroom for missed assignments in the event of your child's absence. As a reminder, Google Classroom can only be accessed through your child's school Google account.
Important Dates
September 4th: First Day of School!
September 25th: Back to School Night
September 23-24th: Schools Closed for Rosh Hashanah
September 29th: Picture Day
October 2nd: Schools Closed for Yom Kippur
October 13th: Schools closed for students
October 20th: Schools closed for Diwali
October 31st: One Session Day
**Parent - Teacher Conferences will be held December 2nd - December 5th
**Winter Break: December 23rd is a One Session Day. School will be closed from December 24th through January 2nd. School will reopen on January 5th.
**Spring Break: School will be closed from March 30th through April 3rd.
**The last day of school is June 23rd (pending any make up days)
About Mrs. Morrison
This year marks my 17th year teaching elementary school. I taught 1st grade for 7 years and this will be my 10th year teaching 4th grade. I am a graduate of The College of New Jersey and hold both an Elementary Education certification as well as Teacher of the Handicapped certification. I come from a large family of educators, 14 to be exact; so needless to say, education is often a topic of conversation at our family gatherings.
