Dear Students and Parents,

Thank you for visiting our Gifted and Talented web page.  I am thrilled to join the Marlboro Elementary School family as the Gifted and Talented teacher again this year!  Before joining the Marlboro Township Schools Gifted and Talented team, I most recently served as the Gifted and Talented teacher within the Rumson School District.  Previous to that placement, I have taught Preschool, Second Grade, Fourth Grade and Fifth Grade in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Over the past several years at “Mar El”, I have designed lessons and units to enrich our school.  As a group, we circled the globe several times throughout our many days of learning and were enriched by American and foreign cultures along the way.  We explored the South American Rainforests, Cinderella variants from different countries, the existence and scientific explanations of the New and Old Wonders of the World as well as numerous enigmas spanning the globe, the inner workings of the human and sheep’s brain, the lives and contributions of inventors and discoverers across the centuries, current space explorations, the world of science fiction AND the great abyss deep into the Twilight Zone!  In addition, we have participated and won seven international games of hide and seek as we successfully sought out 10 locations around the globe hiding behind their sunrise/sunset times through Learner.org's Mystery Class!  As if that wasn’t enough, we dove into literature to explore themes of courage, friendship, and determination through a multitude of trade books, novels, plays and poems.

I anxiously wait to explore new concepts, investigate new ideas, and create new worlds of inquiry to share with the “Mar El” community again this year!
