Welcome to a new school year! My name is Hailey Ignarra (Ms. Iggy), and I am so excited to be a Special Education Teacher at Marlboro Elementary School this year. While this is my first official year teaching, it is my second year working within the wonderful ERI program here at Marlboro. Having spent the past year supporting our students in the ERI program, I am thrilled to step into my new role and continue partnering with our students, staff, and families.

 

I attended Rutgers University where I received my Bachelors in Psychology, and this was where my appreciation for education really deepened. Understanding how children learn, process emotions, and develop critical thinking allows me to create a nurturing learning environment where every student feels valued, confident, and empowered to succeed. When I'm not working, I thoroughly enjoy reading, going to the gym, spending time with my loved ones, and trying new sports!
