The technology program at Marlboro Elementary School has changed greatly since the Computer Lab opened in the middle of the 1992-1993 school year.
During the 2018-2019 year, I split most classes with Ms. Gullo, Mar El's Media Specialist. Each first through fifth grade class will be split into two groups - the blue group and the yellow group. Students and their classroom teachers will be aware of which students will be in each group. There are times when the entire class will be together in one of the rooms.
Kindergarten students will remain as a class, but will have a schedule for when they visit each part of Media Literacy.
Ms. Gullo and I have separate rooms so the students at Marlboro Elementary School have the opportunity to work in the Media Center as well as the Engineering and Design Lab.
While in Media Literacy, students will gain skills in media literacy (formerly known as library), educational technology, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math).
